Imelda Gadiano-Parcasio graduated with her BS in Education major in History and minor in English from the University of the Cordilleras, formerly Baguio Colleges Foundation, Baguio City; MA in Social Studies and Doctor of Education major in Educational Management at Benguet State University, La Trinidad, Benguet.
At present, she is a Full Time Professor of the College of Teacher Education of BSU. She held key positions like Student Government Adviser, Extension Coordinator, Department Head, Associate Dean , BSU- Gender And Development Focal Person and the BSU College of Teacher Education Dean.
She is a researcher, extensionist, writer and a resource speaker in her area of expertise . She is a member of the Philippine Commission on Women National GAD Resource Pool and an officer/member of various professional organization for teachers. She is a recipient of the following Awards: BSU Distinguished Teacher in 2014 and Benguet Outstanding Employee (Higher Education Institution Teacher Category) during the 2nd Benguet Teachers’ Day Celebration in 2016.
